President-Elect Donald Trump is less than two weeks away from officially assuming office. He’ll be moving back into the White House next weekend and moving Joe Biden OUT of it. Despite the very near end of his reign, and being delivered a clear mandate by voters that they want a change from President Biden’s policies, the Biden regime has NOT stopped implementing more of their insane left-wing policies which could impact our lives for years to come!
One perfect example of that is a radical new BAN on hot water heaters which impacts roughly 40% of new tankless water heaters and extends the Biden regime’s efforts to wage war on household appliances under the guise of fighting climate change.
The new ban goes into effect in March 2025 and severely limits consumer’s choices regarding their water heater purchases, in many cases FORCING Americans to pay more money for inferior products all because of the left’s radical climate agenda.
Matthew Agen, the American Gas Association’s chief counsel for energy warned that this change could crush low-income households. “Direct pricing information from a manufacturer suggests that the difference in average product price alone is approximately $450,” Agen said.
Biden’s team over at the useless Department of Energy (DOE) must have known this wouldn’t be a very popular move because they pushed to finalize the rule the day after Christmas, hoping that people would be too distracted by the holidays to realize they had just screwed everyone over.
To add to their secrecy, the DOE opted NOT to send out a press release or any other form of a public announcement like they have in the past with similar “climate oriented” appliance bans.
The Heritage Foundation’s Diana Furchtgott-Roth wrote that this ban relies on an outdated energy law from the 70s which “should be repealed.”
She added that Biden is using his executive branch powers to “regulate your household appliances because Congress, which answers to the people, refused to pass such restrictive laws.”
Not only is this a spot-on assessment of what’s happened here, but it also exposes what Joe Biden has been doing his entire presidency to guarantee that the radical climate leftists get to advance their ridiculously destructive agenda.
From attacking ceiling fans to trying to impose a federal ban on gas-powered cars, Biden’s presidency has been one FILLED with climate-crazed leftists trying to take away our right to choose what products we think about best for our particular situation.
The past four years has seen these miserable liberals dictate to us how we’re allowed to spend OUR money as they aimed to control every single aspect of our lives.
President Donald Trump and his administration need to come in and undo ALL of Biden’s absurd bans like this on DAY 1, which might be exactly what Trump’s pick to lead the DOE, Chris Wright, is looking to do.
