Dems React to Soleimani’s Death — Prefer Dead Americans to Dead Terrorists

The Trump Administration refuses to allow the killing of Americans to go unanswered, and Democrats do not like it one bit.

The determined leadership President Donald Trump demonstrated in the recent elimination of an Iranian general, arguably responsible for more American deaths than Osama bin Laden, has liberals outraged. It appears these globalist elites would rather the likes of Qasem Soleimani and ISIS founder Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi walk the Earth with impunity, free to slaughter America’s sons and daughters than meet the sword of justice.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was quick to denounce the proactive measures taken by the Trump Administration, who took out the man responsible for upwards of 17 percent of U.S. deaths and injuries during the Iraq war.

“We cannot put the lives of American servicemembers, diplomats, and others further at risk by engaging in provocative and disproportionate actions. Tonight’s airstrike risks provoking further dangerous escalation of violence. America — and the world — cannot afford to have tensions escalate to the point of no return,” Pelosi said. “The Administration has conducted tonight’s strikes in Iraq targeting high-level Iranian military officials and killing Iranian Quds Force Commander Qasem Soleimani without an Authorization for Use of Military Force against Iran. Further, this action was taken without the consultation of the Congress.”

Soleimani had been under constant surveillance by U.S. and coalition forces for years. Although he leveraged and assisted third-party terror groups from the shadows, he brazenly thumbed his nose at American forces in recent years by operating in the open.

“We’ve known every minute of every day where Soleimani is for years. There’s no moment of any given day where five or six intelligence agencies can’t tell you where he is,” a Republican foreign policy official reportedly said. “It’s been one of his talking points. ‘The Americans can find me any time. They just don’t dare hit me.’”

It’s certainly true that the Obama-Biden administration not only cowered — they handed Iran pallets of cold, hard, U.S. cash. But President Trump had already ordered the takedown of ISIS founder Bakr al-Baghdadi in October. He reportedly went out like a coward wailing and crying while being chased down by dogs before detonating a suicide bomb.

“Did America just assassinate, without any congressional authorization, the second most powerful person in Iran?” Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy complained on Twitter.

What should be more concerning is that both al-Baghdadi and Iran’s so-called “shadow commander” have been high priority national security targets for years. Why did Obama and Biden take action to stop these monsters from continuing to kill and maim Americans and innocent civilians? Soleimani is widely considered the orchestrator of the IED program that took the lives and limbs of thousands.

Rather than pause their obstruction of the president, Democrat hopefuls lent aid to the enemy by criticizing one of the most decisive moves to protect Americans abroad and at home.

“President Trump just tossed a stick of dynamite into a tinderbox, and he owes the American people an explanation,” Joe Biden said while not mentioning this mass murderer operated securely on his watch.

“But this reckless move escalates the situation with Iran and increases the likelihood of more deaths and new Middle East conflict,” Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren added. “Our priority must be to avoid another costly war.”

That is exactly the thinking that prompted Soleimani to orchestrate terrorist plots out in the open. He had reportedly planned the bombing of a Washington, D.C., restaurant, and plotted to murder a Saudi Arabian diplomat in conjunction with a Mexican cartel member on American soil. Warren’s attitude is consistent with other liberals that the U.S. should fear scurrilous dogs like Soleimani and allow them to kill more Americans. The Trump doctrine says otherwise.

“Under my leadership, America’s policy is unambiguous: To terrorists who harm or intend to harm any American, we will find you. We will eliminate you,” Trump said. “We will always protect our diplomats, service members, all Americans, and our allies.”

Soleimani, like congressional Democrats, didn’t get the memo that America is great again and not to be trifled with.
