Christmas really did come early in 2024. We’re not talking about President-elect Donald Trump’s resounding victory in the election, although that was the icing on the cake. We’re talking about the fact that Trump was even alive to win the election.
Imagine what a different world we would be living in if that assassin’s bullet in July had been a few millimeters to the right! Instead of four more years of chaos, misery, inflation, war, and injustice, we now have calm, joy (at least on our side), hope for a better economy, peace, and justice. What a Christmas gift from on high!
Russia and Ukraine’s leaders have both said they’re ready to sit down for peace talks with Trump. The main obstacles to peace this whole time have been Joe Biden and Boris Johnson. They were the ones who scrapped every offer of a peace deal in order to keep the globalists’ money laundering operation going. Ukraine never had any hope of winning and hundreds of thousands of lives were squandered—and Biden made us pay for it through more inflation.
Even the Houthis in Yemen calmed down after Trump won reelection. At the threat of peace breaking out in the Middle East, the Biden regime bombed a building in the capital city of Yemen on December 16th. After the CIA-trained members of ISIS toppled the Syrian government, Biden started immediately bombing ISIS.
The removal of the Assad government left our allies in that country—the Kurds—exposed and vulnerable to ISIS. Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said we need to send American troops in to protect the Kurds. They never would have been in danger in the first place if we hadn’t toppled Assad! It’s the same story every time. Start a war that has nothing to do with America and send our sons and daughters to fight it.
The times we are living through are reminiscent of one of Isaiah’s prophecies that would be fulfilled in the birth of Jesus, which is why we’re celebrating Christmas in the first place.
Isaiah 9:6-7 reads:
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
“Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.”
Notice that justice must be established for peace to follow in any government. The stolen 2020 election was a grave injustice. The Russia hoax was a grave injustice predicated on nothing more than lies. The last four years of hyperinflation, which cost every American family more than $14,000 a year in purchasing power, was a terrible injustice. The Ukraine war, the October 7th attacks, and other instances of chaos and violence around the world were terrible injustices that never should have happened.
The January 6ers still rotting in cages after four years because they dared to exercise a First Amendment right the government is supposed to protect, is an injustice. All these injustices would have continued for another four years if a gust of wind had pushed that bullet just a few millimeters to the right in July.
Will the next four years bring about world peace? Of course not. Is Donald Trump a perfect vessel? None of us, including him, would ever be. But is he the strange vessel who God has chosen for this moment of history? He obviously is.
More peace and stability are coming, even if it won’t be the perfect peace we hope for. And that peace is coming because justice is about to be reestablished in America.
